baritone sax

Paul has been a professional musician since 1982. Largely self taught, Paul came to the music through Melbourne's thriving Rock and R&B scene. He has since worked in most areas of the business, produced several CD's under his own name, appeared on many others as a soloist and arranger, maintained several long running residencies and has enjoyed continuous gainful employment. The fact that his father played Double Bass & Sousaphone, may explain his attraction to the lower end of the Saxophone family.

Paul is a self confessed golf addict, enjoys fishing and just loves to play the saxophone........

tenor sax

Over the past twenty-five years Tony and his Tenor have made amazing music with Stevie Wonder and Frank Sinatra, jazz superstars Billy Cobham and Randy Brecker, and with countless musicians in Melbourne's local jazz, commercial, theatre, classical and avant-guarde scenes. While he is equally comfortable across a range of saxophones,  flutes and clarinets, there will always be a place in Tony's heart for his beautiful old Selmer tenor.

'It was the sound of the soprano that inspired me to take up sax. While I make music on the other saxes, the process of playing soprano feels more like speech.'
